    One of my fall favorites is cider doughnuts. Not far away from where I live is the Lousiburg Cider Mill, a fully functioning operation year round, though in the fall is the Louisburg Cider Festival with all the trappings of Fall from pumkin patches, hay rides, carnival and continual hot cider and cider doughnuts. May sound rather hick to New York, though great memories to be made year after year.
