Yoo Hoo-oo! Waving to Mary.
I feel fabulous. I’ve had a wonderful day & you are a very charming hostess.
I feel like I had a mini-vacation just ogling the photos.
Mary, You outdid yourself with the breathtakingly gorgeous picture album. Those steps made out of old tiles are the pièce de résistance.
Dear Mary,
You took me down memory lane. It was twenty years ago when my new lover and I vacationed in Capri as well as staying in Ravello a small town on the Amalfi Coast. We had two glorious weeks at the end of tourist season in September and October. He is now my husband and after viewing your slides I’ve decided we will celebrate our 20th anniversary in Capri.
Thank you for a wonderful journey.
Life is good.
Years ago after reading Shirley Hazzard’s “Greene on Capri” I longed to go there–for just a day. How fortunate you are to be able to experience this beautiful site; we who are unable to go there thank you for the tour.
Phyllis—Loved Graham Greene and the description of his house…and that he said (in the 60s) the problem with modern life was that there is no quiet! Imagine what he’d say today. Great book that I savored…thanks for the reminder.
Ahhh … Mary.
Your narrative and photos give me un motivo sognare ancora.
Capri is on my list.
What delicious captions and photos of that enchanted isle. It’s true…everyone is beautiful on Capri. I smiled all the way through the cyber-trip. Grazie mille.
Wondrous photos! Lovely descriptions! Thank you, Mary, for this Friday gift!
Mille Grazie!
Grazie, Mary, for the gorgeous photos and text, so evocative and inviting.
