The Women on the Web have taken to the airwaves! Join us on Sirius XM in July

Dear wOw Friends:

As those of you who have been with us from the beginning know, we wOw-ers love to talk. For more than a year, we brought you “The wOw Effect” radio program on the site, and enjoyed it so much that we’ve decided to grow it even bigger. So, we’ve teamed up with SiriusXM to launch a new talk show that aired nationally this weekend. Join us in July for our next show, broadcast times to be announced.

This is a six-part series, with a new installment airing each month on SiriusXM Stars channel 107. (STARS features Barbara Walters, Rosie O’Donnell, Deepak Chopra, and more.) Each show will air throughout the weekend it debuts. Our next program, which airs next month, will be hosted by Marlo Thomas and Liz Smith interviewing Gloria Steinem (segment 1); Lesley Stahl and Candice Bergen interviewing author and “Morning Joe”bestselling co-anchor Mika Brzezinski (segment 2).

We hope you’ll join us, and can’t wait to hear your feedback.

If you do not have Sirius XM, is there a way to hear the interviews?

Got there just on the dot – and couldn’t get it as I realized you had to sign pages of stuff first and it was too much.  Can we read the transcript please?

So sorry you were unable to listen! It was such a fun program.
In fact, it can only be heard on SiriusXM (my sister got up early Saturday morning to listen in her car parked in her driveway!) and there aren’t transcripts. But we will explore and see if there is a way to access these programs on line (after the fact). Thank you Joan and Linda, for trying.

According to the site, if you are a subscriber for a few dollars a month you can access the programs through the internet or even an app for smartphones. I will have to put being a subscriber on my to do list. I am sure I am missing the option of better radio programming by not being a subscriber.

I have satellite radio in my vehicle because I am on the road a lot. I will have to program this station to of the of the presets. I hope that I am able to listen when it airs.
