Oh, Ms. Mary Pickford, of course!
Hi Mugsy- Belated Happy Birthday. I was hospital-hopping and your birthday slid right by. Hope you had a happy!!!
Looks like the beautiful Mary to me. Such a romantic. Love it.
Can’t miss that face—beautiful Mary :-)
Beauty and brains!
Yes, the top photograph is of Mary Pickford but I don’t think the other photograph is. I think it is of Fay Wray….though I could be mistaken. Wonderful actresses. And Mary, of course, one of the founders of United Artists with Chaplin, Griffith and her then husband Douglas Fairbanks.
Thanks for posting this lovely video. I have seen it several times and this is the perfect place for it to get the attention it deserves.
Great video! LWC
Exquisite faces ~ all!
I was enthralled by the recent PBS American Experience biopic on Pickford and fell in love with her life and legend. What a great asset PBS is. I hope it will be a high priority for the next Democratic administration to guarantee funding and true independence for one of our most important national institutions.
Fun vid!
When I saw Audrey Hepburn, it reminded me that I found a new magazine for teenagers dedicated to modest dressing who use Audrey as their icon /role model.

Correction: The Eliza site says it is created for women…..
Love this video! thanks.
Watch it again. It’s a great neck exercise.
It’s a pity I could not connect the video ~
wild video! crazy technology. Kind of hypnotic. It was kind of shocking how few women of color there were/are. And I mean any color but white.
America’s sweetheart - think, she played children forever. I liked her in Taming of the Shrew with hubby Douglas Fairbanks, but no one else did. But I thought Garbo’s last film, which was supposed to be a bomb, 2 Faced Woman, was perfectly charming. How awful that these women weren’t allowed to AGE.
