Absolutely love it! I do hope that one thing we might all agree upon is that the music from the 60s was hot, was rock and was marvelous. I think both songs were included in the soundtrack from a wonderful/hurtful/comedic movie with Robin Williams, entitled “Good Morning Vietnam”. Brings back an entire era.
James Brown, RIP.
Hope I’m not the only one dancing around and lip synching.
What fun!
Oh, thank you, thank you!!! This was fabulous and no, Carol, you weren’t the only one dancing and singing. I loved this!!!
I’m dancin’ & syncin’ too.
I bet Frank and Deni will join us as soon as they get here.
Gonna party all weekend, and it’s a 3-day weekend in Canada. Yippeeeeee!!!
Lily I am soooo dancing! This is magnifico! I was reading the comments and dancing and just as I got to Maurines post I was going Oh Yeah! so it was like, we were all singin and dancin together!
This is the best! I have it bookmarked now. parteeeeeeeeeee!
Brown concert in Tampa Fla, maybe 1970 something. Wow! what a show, but I did not catch his satins shirt that he threw to the audience.
Good Morning, Usual Suspects! Perfect antidote for four days of rain…For one mistaken moment, I thought that was Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs…(the Contours) …Fancy Dress Ball and W&L…and, yes, that was the 60’s…and, wow, there’s more on the menu button..Happy Friday! Think I’ll dust off some vinyl and declare this a CFZ..candidate free zone for a couple of days…
Oh yeah! My toes are tappin’ as I write this!
Thank-You so very much! It put a smile on my face and reminded me of some really health fun times.
James Brown was Sooooooo good! I will go put on his CD now that you got me going! Bettye LaVette - another great that more U.S. people should get to know. She is out of this world GREAT! Check her out if you haven’t heard her. For some reason she is big overseas, but not here???? Our loss.
Is the the best, or what?! So happy to see you!
I am glad to be back, Deni! It is great to hear the hearts and voices of you wonderful women.
Suffering a massive hangover and the first sounds jolted me - but first time today that I smiled. Thanks
ps - think I made all those moves and sang those songs last night LMAO
