wOw's Views on the News: Will Pinocchio Be the Next U.S. President?

Will Pinocchio be our next president? Recent headlines suggest that we can’t go wrong: all three presidential hopefuls have been spotted on the stump with rather large and growing noses. So who’s the biggest liar of them all? You be the judge.
Regarding the inflammatory rhetoric of his former pastor Rev. Wright, Obama said, "He had not heard many of those positions while a congregant at the church," according to FOXNews.com (read the article by clicking here). Do you believe him?
As for Sen. McCain, he faces accusations of lying — about whether or not he voted for President Bush in 2000 — from Arianna Huffington, who says the senator is "now willing to say or do anything, or sling mud at anyone, to satisfy his hunger for the White House" (read the article on Huffingtonpost.com by clicking here).
And, finally, here is The New York Times’s David Brooks’s description of Sen. Clinton’s demeanor during her appearance on "This Week With George Stephanopoulos": "Her attempt to take over the show was nothing compared with her attempt to dominate the truth" (read the article on the NYTimes.com by clicking here). Do you agree that "Sen. Clinton is incarnating her role as the first Democratic Rambo?"
So, who’s the biggest liar? Click here to vote in our poll.

I’m willing to cut them some slack because this campaign seems like the longest in memory and I have no idea how they survive the endless, exhausting process. The moment with Hillary under sniper fire was fascinating as Bill piled on, making it worse by making her seem all but incontinent when he said, “When a 60-year-old woman gets tired and confused at the end of the long day … but Hillary had written about that same incident very factually and lucidly in her book. The Barack and Reverend situation has been very awkward and damaging stuff even if he didn’t lie. That guy is pure trouble; completely inflammatory and attention-starved. McCain has had a few irrational moments, i.e., “Bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran,” and that wasn’t a lie — just an insane exuberant outburst. But that any of them survive the grueling process is impressive and I’m willing to cut them a certain amount of slack. Just a certain amount however.
The MSM and all fervent fanatics (for a myriad of propositions/candidates) who would rather level all the trees if their fave cannot be the tallest: these are the barbarian hordes of our age. People who create clever questions and “polls” like this are pretty lame, too, I think.
Interesting times.
I agree, Lana. Opinion polls are self serving and tend to shape perceptions out of rubbish.
We would be better off without the nonesense of guesstimating. The MSM are responsible for most of the Desert we’re in. And the apathetic voters and “undecideds” have finished this sordid social scene. Most polls are toxic and unfactual and we could do without.
I would like to poll adult children of single parents. See what they think?
I agree with you!!!!!!!!!!
Who cares? There’re too many rumors coming out each day. Who knows which one is true and which one is not. It’s said Britney is now on
***myrichmatch . c o m***
finding her son a new father. Who can believe it?
Oh Geeze! Stupid question!!! Some of these questions must come from some looney who’s been locked in the basement for several days! Good grief! Put them back into the basement!!!
Well LG, I would expound on this, but I think you’ve said it all and much better than I could have!
Ditto
You might feel differently if you’d ever been locked in a basement.
Ms Dee — Nope never got locked in a basement, however, did get locked in my grandmothers attic. Sure did have to tinkle when I finally got out.
OK — that’s it. We should lock this person in the attic
I’ve gone by one rule re politicians since LBJ: politicians lie—all the time. It’s called political expediency and I have yet to see one in the last 40 years that has disproved this.
Most people lie, Frank.
They don’t have to be politicians…even though one word (politician) is sort of a euphamism for the other. Or is it the other way around?
The candidate should win who can correctly spell Pinocchio. To avoid another Dan Quayle, the candidate for Vice President must take the same test.

Frank or anyone out there: I have no teens to coach me and I’m in the dark as far as texting goes. Someone please explain roflmao!!!
